“Who outsources, loses?” - Sopra Financial Technology launches podcast “Tech and Ta-cheles” with a provocative thesis

Nuremberg, 18.06.2025, Sopra Financial Technology is launching its new podcast “Tech und Tacheles” with a clear statement - “If you outsource, you lose”. In the first episode, Gerald Mehring, Business Unit Director at Sopra Financial Technology, and Dr. Bernhard Hinfurtner, Senior Account Director at T-Systems International, discuss the opportunities and challenges of IT outsourcing in the financial services industry.
In a lively and pointed discussion atmosphere, the focus will be on more than just technical aspects: What does outsourcing mean for innovative strength, corporate culture and strategic development? The experts don't mince their words - with clear positioning, real experiences from the field and a dialog at eye level.

As IT Director and Head of Managed Service at SFT, he is responsible for the strategic and operational infrastructure in several data centers. He uses agile methods and is a senior expert in IT outsourcing, IT service management and sales. As a pragmatic leader, he develops innovative solutions and provides support with SLA and contract management in particularly challenging situations.
