On November 5, 2024, we hosted our Financial Transformation & Resilience Day in Frankfurt am Main, a prestigious event that brought together industry leaders, experts, and innovators. In a dynamic and often challenging global economy, the event focused on key topics of financial transformation and resilience, two aspects that are essential for the future of the industry.

• Panel Discussion "Innovation as a Resilience Strategy": Jeanine Morina (ING Diba), Dr. Peter Mücke (Sopra Steria Next), Teresa Terpstra and Tobias Unger discussed that resilience in the financial industry demands innovation, adaptability, sustainability and flexibility. Resilience means "securing the front door" and continuously improving.
• Interactive Workshops on "Regulatory" and "Innovation": With numerous insights and findings presented by Florian Geiling, Thomas Fischer, Gerald Mehring and Dr. Rainer Knippschild from Sopra Financial Technology.

Summary and outlook 

The event was a tremendous success and brought forth a plethora of valuable insights that will aid all participants in navigating an increasingly complex and digital financial world. Thanks to extensive support, we were able to present a significant donation to the Hacker School, represented by Dr. Julia Freudenberg, CEO of the organization. The Financial Transformation & Resilience Day once again demonstrated that the financial industry is undergoing transformation, but that immense opportunities can be created through innovation and resilience.
